Risk of mosquitoes breeding in ‘pond-sized’ hole

In front of Block 102, Ang Mo Kio Street 11, a large hole the size of a pond has been dug in a plot of land. When it rains, water collects in the hole. This poses a risk to all the residents living in the area, since it can breed mosquitoes and facilitate the spread of dengue fever and the Zika virus.

With the authorities already fighting the Zika virus, I seriously urge the National Environment Agency to send some personnel over to look into the matter without further delay.
