I cannot understand why the taxman has notified Uber and Grab about income tax pre-filing for their drivers only now. I am surprised, as Uber and Grab have over 40,000 drivers by now — and counting.

This needs an explanation by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore. It is little wonder that ComfortDelGro is sinking by the day (Comfort shares sink on double dose of bad news; Sept 20). Charlie Lau
