Teachers, school of PSLE student with dyslexia deserve praise

The Primary School Leaving Examination results have improved — to the relief of parents, who can now focus on motivating their children for secondary education.

Yet what was remarkable were the achievements of Sri John Albert David (“Pupil overcomes dyslexia, difficult childhood to pass PSLE”; Nov 25).

It is well known that teachers can inspire; on top of that, they can personify and perpetuate goodness among their charges. The pupil’s teachers and his school, Da Qiao Primary, must be praised for their services and for moulding their pupils in their studies.

Every child is born innocent and equal. By sharing our love with children, we are spreading compassion and promoting thoughtfulness in this corner of the world.
