Terrorism experts can try dialogue idea
I am glad the writer of “Constructive dialogue may be better way to forestall terror” (Sept 23) agreed with my letter that starting a dialogue may be the best way forward (“Dialogue may break terrorism impasse”; Sept 22).

Likewise, I agree with him that the notion about not talking to terrorists is misguided. It may be fruitful for like-minded terrorism experts, during their international forums, to explore and discuss the feasibility of starting such dialogues.

I may be over-optimistic, but if we can alleviate terrorism through constructive dialogue, there would be less need to “prevent” attacks.
