Although sports shooting may be a hobby for some, we cannot exclude the possibility of firearms being stolen or used by unauthorised people, which would endanger lives.
The question is whether real ammunition had been used and, if so, whether there was a necessity. How tight are shooting centres’ measures to ensure public safety? And where a member is mentally unstable or turns violent during the period he has access to ammunition, what would happen?
Low crime does not mean no crime, and the world is evolving fast. Other unknown security concerns may be a threat, so let us work to build a safer nation.
