We should honour, back Mr Lee’s will for home

I am not one of the Singaporeans who wish for the Oxley Road home of the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew to be conserved to commemorate his legacy.

I am not one of the Singaporeans who wish for the Oxley Road home of the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew to be conserved to commemorate his legacy.

In fact, I feel ashamed that his children have had to ask Singaporeans to respect his will. The house belongs to the family, and Mr Lee himself repeatedly expressed his wishes for it to be demolished.

Many with the best intentions hope for the property to remain, but I hope they can respect the will of our founding Prime Minister and support his wish for the house to be demolished.
