Widen paths, not erect barriers
Barriers have been installed on the path alongside Tampines Park, aimed at cyclists, I believe. But more than anything, this has inconvenienced wheelchair users.

I notice that cyclists and pedestrians would just go around the barriers. Wheelchair users have to manoeuvre through them, which is harder to do where there is a slope. Widening the path would be a better solution.
Until Singapore has the cycling infrastructure, both pedestrians and cyclist should learn to co-exist.
