The shooting occurred at 10.15pm (10.15am, Singapore time) at Irving Plaza, near Manhattan’s Union Square.
Rapper T.I. was performing at the venue at the time.
Police say two men and a woman were shot, adding that one of the men had life-threatening injuries. The condition of the other two victims was not immediately known.
No arrests have been made.
No other information was immediately available.
