SINGAPORE — An online survey promising free AirAsia tickets on completion is a scam, warned Malaysian low-cost carrier AirAsia on its Facebook accounts.

The survey, which has been making its rounds on social media, requires users to answer three questions and share the post to qualify for a pair of free tickets.

“We would like to clarify that this survey is not conducted by us or any of our affiliates, and confirm that this is a scam which uses the AirAsia brand without authorisation,” said the airline, in response to queries by the public on AirAsia and AirAsia Singapore Facebook accounts.

“We advise the public to disregard such invitations and AirAsia shall not be held liable for any claims pertaining to the false scheme.”

Malaysian daily Bernama reported that the airline has lodged a police report and intends to take legal action against individuals or groups involved.
