KUALA LUMPUR — No timeframe has been set for the completion of the special task force investigations into the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) scandal, Putrajaya confirmed.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Nancy Shukri said in a written reply in Parliament that the special task force is still in the process of investigating and the probe will be completed once it has recorded the statements of all witnesses and collected relevant documents.

“Since this case involves many witnesses and documents including some that are abroad, there is no set timeframe for investigations to be completed.

“The results of the special taskforce’s findings will be presented to the Attorney-General for further action,” she said in reply to a question submitted by Jelebu member of parliament Zainudin Ismail. MALAY MAIL ONLINE
