PERTH — About 1,000 sailors and 100 personnel from international countries are involved in the sea and air search for MH370, said Australia Prime Minister Tony Abbott today.

Calling the international effort “notable”, Mr Abbott said that countries are bearing their own cost for their part in the search.

He also said that a crisis centre will be set up for families under an Australian 20-staff coordination team. Families will receive timely updates on the search.
