Almost S$5,000 offered for World Cup fish tipsters
SINGAPORE — The World Cup may have ended, but a pair of dragon fish which played tipsters during the tournament are now a wanted commodity.

SINGAPORE — The World Cup may have ended, but a pair of dragon fish which played tipsters during the tournament are now a wanted commodity.
Buyers are offering almost S$5,000 to the owner of the fish, which are called Big Huat and Small Huat, despite the fact that the fish were far from accurate with their predictions.
The fish guessed the outcomes of 11 matches. The small dragon fish got 45 per cent of her predictions right, while the big one scored only 36 per cent.
But according to their owner, buyers are keen to have them because they are tame. The owner said it is not easy to train dragon fish.
“Customers ask us if we want to sell Small Huat for S$2,888 and we have queries about Big Huat with an offer of S$1,888. They feel that these two are tame and can be kept as pets,” said Mr Jimmy Yap, business development manager at Qian Hu Corporation. CHANNEL NEWSASIA
