Andy Lau Spotted Visiting Buddhist Charity In KL

The visit was supposed to be low key and staff were discouraged from snapping or posting photos of the star to protect his privacy.

Almost every Chinese New Year, Andy Lau, 61, would accompany his wife, former Malaysian beauty queen Carol Chu, 56, back to Kuala Lumpur, where her family lives, for the festivities.

The Heavenly King also managed to squeeze in a visit to a Buddhist charity during his trip.

Yesterday (Jan 26), the Heavenly King, who is a devout Buddhist, was spotted visiting Tzu Chi Jing Si Hall. He was accompanied by Malaysian tycoon Vincent Tan.

In a video obtained by China Press, Andy, who was dressed in a grey jacket, white tee and jeans, was seen chatting and laughing with volunteers as he made his way to the hall.

According to reports, the visit was supposed to be low key and staff were discouraged from snapping or posting photos of the star to protect his privacy.

Carol and their 10-year-old daughter Hanna did not appear to be with him.

When Andy visited Malaysia during CNY in 2020, he and his family remained in the country for three months due to the Covid-19 outbreak and lockdown.
