The Beatles: Get Back — The Rooftop Concert To Premiere In IMAX Theatres In February

It’s back for a limited engagement from Feb 10-13.

The Beatles are back by popular demand.

The Fab Four’s legendary concert on the rooftop of the Apple Corps’ Savile Row HQ is set to premiere as a 60-minute feature in Shaw Theatres IMAX from Feb 10-13.

The 30, 1969 concert is featured in Peter Jackson’s three-part docu-series The Beatles: Get Back, which debuted on Disney+ in November.

The documentary, which follows the Beatles’ recording of their final album, 1970’s Let It Be, was put together from nearly 60 hours of archival material shot over 21 days and more than 150 hours of unheard audio, most of which has been locked in a vault for over half a century. Jackson spent three years restoring the footage.

“I’m thrilled that the rooftop concert from The Beatles: Get Back is going to be experienced in IMAX, on that huge screen,” says Jackson in a statement. “It’s The Beatles’ last concert, and it’s the absolute perfect way to see and hear it.”
