Ben Yeo Calls Mediacorp Girl Group 4567 A K-pop Group, Member Juin Teh Says They Are A “Kaobeh Group” Instead
Now that's self-awareness.
Sometimes all you need is a friend who would hype you up, no matter how ridiculous it may sound.
Just like how Ben Yeo, 44, called Mediacorp girl group 4567 — which consists of Gini Chang, 28, Jernelle Oh, 28, Juin Teh, 32, and Seow Sin Nee, 26, — a "K-pop group" on his Instagram last week.
Ben's knowledge of K-pop has us tickled BlackpinkSo how did that happen?
Ben was engaging his fans in an 'Ask Me Anything' session on Instagram when he received the question: "Do you stan any K-pop groups or [are there] any K-pop songs you're listening to?"
His answer?
Sharing a picture he took at the Star Awards 2023 Gala Dinner with Tasha Low, who was a member of now-defunct South Korean girl group SKARF, as well as Jernelle, Juin and Sin Nee, Ben wrote: "I know Blackpink, 4567 & Tasha."
Um, Tasha we get but 4567?!
And it looks like Juin was equally amused by Ben's answer.
"Brother, we dare not [call ourselves a] K-pop group. [But] Kaobeh group we OK," she joked.
