Carman Lee, 56, Dresses Up As Xiao Long Nu Again After 27 Years; Netizens Say She “Hasn’t Aged At All"

It goes without saying that she’s the most iconic Xiao Long Nu.

If you still doubt that Hong Kong actress Carman Lee’s portrayal of Xiao Long Nu aka the Little Dragon Girl is the most fitting one out of all other actresses who have played the role, these pictures should clear up any lingering doubts you still have.

The 56-year-old played Xiao Long Nu in the 1995 TVB adaptation of Jin Yong's wuxia novel The Return Of The Condor Heroes. Her performance has been lauded by none other than the writer himself, who said she's the actress he thinks of when he envisions Xiao Long Nu in real life.

Carman's Xiao Long Nu is legendary.

Netizens and fans have also dubbed Carman the “Most Beautiful Xiao Long Nu”, a title that she graciously accepted.

On November 10, Carman took to Weibo to share a couple of pictures dressed up as Xiao Long Nu again, after 27 years.

According to reports, fans have been clamouring for Carman to recreate the classic scene of Xiao Long Nu suspended on silk ropes. And boy did Carman deliver.

Just chilling.

“I've learned how to [do this] without using ropes, it would be a pity if I didn’t dress up as Xiao Long Nu,” Carman wrote in her caption.

Of course, netizens were ecstatic to see the post.

She looks oh-so-good.

“How is it that she hasn’t aged at all?” one netizen questioned, while another netizen joked self-deprecatingly: “I've since become an auntie (gu gu), and yet, Gu Gu (how Yang Guo addresses Xiao Long Nu as) is still the same Gu Gu that she was all these years ago.”

“You're pretty, so pretty! The passing of time has only made you even prettier!” another netizen wrote.

And finally, one picture of Carman not dressed as Xiao Long Nu, for good measure.
