Chinese Actor Hu Ge Goes For Driving Test On His Day Off From Filming In China

Yes, that's how he spent his day off.

Chinese actor Hu Ge, who's currently filming his new drama Bright Future in Hefei, was recently spotted taking a driving test during his day off.

On June 29, the 39-year-old actor, who was still wearing his drama's T-shirt when he arrived at the driving school, was reportedly there to take the Class 6 driver’s license subject two test - a license for light-duty tractor trailers - which he apparently needed for filming.

According to his driving instructor, the actor managed to pass the test on his first attempt.

He even scored a 98/100

Hu Ge, however, seems to be quite the perfectionist, revealing that he only scored 98 points.

"What a pity," lamented the actor as he walked out of the venue.

"You just have to get 100, isn't it?" his instructor retorted in jest.

His driving instructor then went on to praise Hu Ge for being friendly and "more good looking than on TV".

That's one lucky fan

And it goes without saying, Hu Ge's unexpected appearance at the driving school caused quite a commotion.

Understandably so, as he usually keeps an extremely low profile, and is almost completely off social media when he's not working.

According to reports, Hu Ge was very accommodating towards the fans' requests for photos and autographs, and he even turned back to wave at everyone before leaving the school.

No wonder he's such a hot favourite.
