Chinese Actor Wang Dong’s 21-Year-Old Wife Posts Video Of Him Attacking And Strangling Her

According to her post, he had also cheated on her when she was pregnant.

Chinese actor Wang Dong, 44, has been accused by his 21-year-old wife, Annepple of abuse.

They got married in 2021 and have a 10-month-old daughter named Cindy together. It's the actor's third marriage.

Wang Dong is the star of dramas such as Diamond Lover (2015), Meteor Garden (2018) and Storm Eye (2021). His popularity grew even more this year after his wuxia fantasy drama The Blue Whisper became a hit.

Annepple's post in April asking for Wang Dong to contact her. "Me and baby miss you very much," she wrote then.

According to a post from Anneple in April, the actor would go MIA for long periods of time after their child was born

She also shared screenshots of his conversations with a friend, where he appeared to seek information regarding child support payments in the case of a divorce.

Just when news of Wang Dong’s alleged neglect of his wife and child died down, Annepple took to her Weibo page on Friday (Aug 26) to share a video of Wang Dong being violent with her.

Wang Dong strangling Annepple in anger

Annepple revealed that she was abused by Wang Dong, who not only hit her, but also threw things at her and cursed her out.

She called the police when he left the room. However, he snatched her phone when he returned.

Her actions angered him more and Wang Dong could be seen furiously asking her what she was trying to do.

He then climbed onto the bed where she was sitting on and strangled her while asking “Do you want to die together?”.

According to Annepple, she couldn't breathe and he only let go after the police started knocking on their door.

The injuries on her head was so bad that she suffered memory loss. She also said the hair on the area where he hit her will "not be able to grow back"

She also sustained many injuries to her arms and legs

When Wang Dong returned from the police station, Annepple said she was beaten up by him again, except this time, it happened in an area of their house where no cameras were installed.

She said that she fell unconscious from the beating, and had scratched him while trying to protect herself.

She then posted a picture of her bloodied head, adding that she suffered from short-term memory loss as a result from a previous beating.

Along with the pic was also a collection of photos of her bruised arms and legs. According to Annepple, those pictures were taken after he hit her when she was pregnant.

A netizen also commented on one of Annepple posts, saying that she and Wang Dong had a one night stand.

Annepple said she was aware of it, and revealed that Wang Dong had cheated on her while she was pregnant too.

Wang Dong posted a statement to his Weibo

After the video went viral, Wang Dong posted a short statement on Weibo.

In it, he apologised and acknowledged that he had gone “overboard”.

“But now, I can finally let go. I won’t be tortured and threatened anymore. I once had expectations for life, I worked hard, tolerated, and tirelessly tried to control this abnormal relationship [with my wife],” he wrote.

He added that his wife didn't reveal the whole truth and that his lawyers had “settled” the matter. He also asked for others to give them space.

Many netizens however, were unable to accept Wang Dong’s apology.

They have since nicknamed him “domestic abuse man”, leaving angry comments such as “What kind of lousy apology is this? He can’t even bring himself to say “abusive actions”? [He said] his actions were “overboard”, he’s really good at absolving himself”.

Others were also appalled and angered by his behaviour towards his wife.
