Born in Shandong, Kimmy signed with Wong Jing’s agency after she was talent scouted at 19.

She made her acting debut in 2011 comedy Treasure Hunt and went on to work with the director seven more times.

She is best known for her role as Chow Yun Fat’s daughter in the popular From Vegas To Macau trilogy.

The movie series, which earned a whopping 2.6 billion yuan (S$508mil) in total box office sales, catapulted Kimmy to fame.
