Daniel Ong And Wife Expecting 2nd Son Together; Says Their First Reaction Was "Really? So Tired Already"

Congratulations are in order for former radio DJ Daniel Ong, 46.

Earlier today (Nov 3), he took to his Instagram to share a piece of good news — he and and his art teacher wife, Fay Tan, 37, are expecting again. And yes, it’s a baby boy this time too.

"So when we first found out, we were like. Really? So tired already…,” he joked in his caption, before going to share that they are "stoked for this blessing”.

He went on to add: "2 girls and 2 boys! Now it’s a team sport! 3v3 here we come,” referencing his blended family.

Daniel and Fay welcomed their son, Andre, in August last year. Fay has a daughter, Gretel, seven, from a previous marriage. Daniel has a daughter, Renee, 12, from his previous marriage to local actress-host Jamie Teo, 45.

"Gotta make some changes, this old man better start getting fit and trying to earn diaper and milk money! I’m just realising when he’s 12, I will be 59. Holy cow. My late 40s are going to be [tiring],” Daniel wrote in his caption.

Apart from that, Daniel, who owns steakhouse chain Dan’s Steaks and seafood restaurant Estuary, joked that he might put on weight too, due to "daddy pregnancy mirroring”.

Finally, he ended his post with a message to Fay.

"To my darling love, hope you have a smooth one, stop feeling puky, and know you have a small army behind you,”he wrote.

Celebs and netizens alike left comments congratulating Daniel, including Jamie.

"Congratulations you guys!!! (sic) Renee is looking forward to another sibling to love,” she wrote, along with a number of heart emojis.

Apart from that, Dennis Chew wrote: "Congratulations bro,” while Allan Wu commented: “Woohoo!! (sic) Congrats once again”.
