Don Don Donki Opening Largest East Side Store At Jewel Changi Airport
Easties, rejoice.

Don Don Donki fans in the East, here's some good news: the Japanese discount chain will be opening its biggest east side outlet in Singapore at Jewel Changi Airport. The store is expected to open in the first quarter of 2023.
What to expect
The upcoming branch is Don Don Donki's second foray into Changi Airport - it had a 24/7 Sweet Potato Factory kiosk at the airport's Terminal 3 Departure Hall, though it closed in September last year.
According to Jewel Changi Airport's Facebook post, Don Don Donki's comeback airport store will feature "an aviation and travel theme" with its "signature array of Japanese produce, food items and merchandise".
Don Don Donki Singapore confirms with 8days.sg that the space will span 18,000 sq ft, which is smaller than the Orchard Central flagship at 26,000 sq ft. And unlike the OC outlet, the Jewel store will also not be 24/7.
Sake section
For Japanese sake lovers, there will also be a "dedicated sake corner" with picks from "all over Japan", as well as an open-concept kitchen serving ready-to-eat meals. Don Don Donki will also be opening its 12th outlet at Waterway Point in Punggol this week on Jan 14.
