Mark Lee, 53, is now in Taipei to attend the Golden Horse Film Festival as a presenter. And on Nov 25, a few days after completing his mandatory quarantine, Mark met up with some of his past and present colleagues who are now based in Taiwan — Jeff Wang, 45, Yvonne Lim, 45 and Kate Pang, 38.

Jeff left Mediacorp in 2010 and moved back home to Taiwan to further his acting career, while Yvonne relocated to Taiwan in 2015 with her family. She returned to Singapore for a two-month holiday in August.

Meanwhile, Kate, who is Taiwanese, and her husband, Andie Chen moved to Taipei with their two kids earlier this year, though the couple still frequently shuttle between Singapore and Taiwan for work.

Jeff posted pictures of their gathering on his Facebook, revealing that they have finally managed to meet up after many years.

According to Jeff's caption, he first met Yvonne in 1999. He got his start in showbiz after winning Star Search that year. Yvonne, on the other hand, was a finalist in the 1997 edition of the talent competition.

Then, a year later, he met Mark.

“I watched [him] get married and have kids, and we worked together on countless shows, with laughter and with tears,” reminisced Jeff.

Mark and Jeff famously hosted four seasons of hit variety show Say It If You Dare together.

“Now, it’s been 22 years, this wasn’t easy, a rare [meeting],” he went to write.

Apart from Jeff, Mark, Yvonne and Kate, Mark’s wife,
Catherine Ng, as well as Yvonne’s husband, Alex Tien also attended the meetup.

Netizens were overjoyed to see the stars together.

“[You guys] finally met,” one netizen wrote, while another joked that it feels like everyone’s “back in Singapore”. Photos: Jeff Wang/Facebook
