"How Handsome Or Beautiful Are You?": Dee Hsu Slams Netizens For Calling Son Ye Jin, 40, “Old” In Unretouched Pics
The Korean actress, who just turned 40, had shared images of her birthday celebration, only to get age-shamed by nasty netizens.

Korean star Son Ye Jin is the latest celebrity to be age-shamed.
Ye Jin, who has long been lauded for her natural beauty, turned 40 on January 11, and the actress took to Instagram to share snippets of her birthday celebrations.
In the pics and videos, Ye Jin can be seen posing in a room filled with gifts and bouquets, and was also surprised by the crew with a party on set.
“To my fans who sent me all of these gifts and flowers, how do I even begin to repay you? It was an overwhelmingly joyous birthday. Thank you so, so much! I’m so touched! I love you, too,” she wrote.
But where's Hyun Bin?
Notably missing in action was Ye Jin’s boyfriend, actor Hyun Bin, and many netizens left comments asking for a snap of the couple together.
“Post a picture of you and Hyun Bin if you want to repay us,” joked one fan, while another said: “Am I the only one who wanted Hyun Bin to make an appearance?”
We were hoping to see Hyun Bin too
However, there were some netizens who were more focused on her looks. They said Ye Jin looks “old” and that the "unretouched pics show the severity of aging".
Dee Hsu to her defense
Infuriated by the comments, Taiwanese host Dee Hsu, who doesn’t take kindly to women being age-shamed, took to Facebook yesterday (Jan 14) to call netizens out for the ageist remarks.
Some fans left messages telling Dee not to take the comments so seriously and get worked up over such nasty people, but to no avail.
Dee replied: "I'm sorry, I'm already serious! When it’s time to be serious, you should be serious. When you don’t have to pay attention to it, then don’t. This is your choice.”
