“I’m Behind You”: Squid Game Villain Heo Sung Tae Spots Fellow Passenger Watching The Hit Show On His Flight
You never know who is sitting behind you on the plane.
In real life, Korean actor Heo Sung Tae, who played the ruthless gangster aka Player 101 in Netflix's Squid Game, is nothing like the heinous villain.
Sung Tae, 44, has a super cheeky personality and loves sharing about his life and pictures of his cats on social media.
On Thursday (May 12), the actor posted on his Instagram Stories a picture he took of someone watching Squid Game in front of him on a flight.
If only he knew...
"Hey look at me!! I'm behind you!!!" wrote Sung Tae, addressing the passenger who was probably too absorbed in the show to realise that the actor he was watching in the scene was right behind.
Sung Tae later posted another video, writing: "Sir, I'm right behind you, have a great trip," adding a heart emoji and hashtagging his character's name Jang Deok-su.
We wonder if the passenger ever realised that Sung Tae was just inches away.
Unsurprisingly, many fans felt it was a pity that the man failed to realise the star was behind him, lamenting that "[he] missed [the chance]" to meet the internationally famous actor.
Sung Tae's Squid Game co-star, Jung Ho Yeon aka Player 067 also left a comment, simply writing "hehehehe."
