Aden Chen turned eight...

And that marks the end of all birthday celebrations for all four members of the Kandie Family this year, with Aden celebrating his eighth birthday in Australia. After all, Kate's birthday is in March, while Andie and Avery share the same June 16th birthday.

Kimberly, whose baby son, Kyzo, just turned two months old, shared this sweet snap of their family-of-three, with the caption: "Now whenever I’m feeling down, I can just look at this picture and know that I’ll be okay". Aww...

Aaron Aziz's youngest received an award at school

The Singaporean actor, who's based in Malaysia, took to his IG to share that his youngest daughter, 12-year-old Dahlia Arissa, received an award at school for doing well in her Malay classes. Congrats!

Hong Huifang reunited with Yvonne Lim and her family in Singapore

The celeb pals are famously close, and of course, since Yvonne and her family are back in Singapore now, there's no better time to catch-up over a meal, right?

Zoe Tay and Romeo Tan enjoyed a sunrise together with their pet pooches

Now, here's an idea for something that all pet parents can do over the long weekend. Romeo shared in his caption that Zoe was the one who'd suggested that they catch the sunrise together with their furkids, and it seems like it was an extremely fruitful experience (not to mention, IG-worthy too).

"I’ll treasure these photos dearly as they’re my first sunrise pictures with my beloved Tigger," Romeo wrote.

Local host Charlyn Lin shared an act of kindness her son did

The host, whose son passed a drink to a worker doing reno work outside her window, wrote: "We can bring smiles to others in every little way. Be kind and always give thanks." A very apt reminder for all indeed.

Joanne Peh shared why talking to Qi Yuwu can be "exasperating"

All Joanne wanted to do was to point out that the couple's outfits that day were super similar to their outfits in the 2011 Mediacorp drama C.L.I.F.

However, Yuwu was very fixated on his food, and merely replied with a deadpan statement, asking Joanne if "CID [officers] dressed like that", while judging her clothes.

"Like what?" Joanne asked, to which Yuwu replied: "Like that lor".

Zoe Tay mourned the passing of Hongkong novelist Ni Kuang

Ni Kuang passed away on July 3 from skin cancer. He was 87. In her IG Story posts, Zoe expressed her condolences and also reminisced about the 1998 Mediacorp drama, The New Adventures of Wiselywhich she starred in. The drama was based on Ni Kuang's Wisely series, with Zoe acting out the part of Bai Su.

Lin Meijiao had a heart-thumping experience in Indonesia

"Stepping onto the high glass platform made me squeal and laugh. Indeed a good exercise for my heart to beat faster and be stronger," wrote the actress who's enjoying her well-deserved holiday.

Nurul Aini's youngest daughter Shania looked super cute as Elsa from Frozen

 Shania and her cousin, Melisa, had a joint birthday party over the weekend, where they dressed up as none other than Elsa and Anan from Disney's Frozen. Way too cute! And of course, props to Nurul and her family for planning the party.
