JJ Lin Responds To Strange Post Directed At Him About Having “An Axe To Grind”; Says He Will “Cooperate” If There’s Proof He Committed A Crime

An anonymous netizen, who was believed to be in Singapore, said they sent “hundreds” of messages to his friends and family in an attempt to contact him.

Wang Leehom’s salacious divorce saga, during which his ex-wife accused him of being a promiscuous serial cheater and sex addict with narcissitic personality disorder, has apparently inspired other wannabe scorned lovers to come forward with their own stories.

In the wee hours of Wednesday morning (Dec 22), a Weibo user known only as “C-peaceful-and-quiet1011” shared a cryptic post directed at JJ Lin… and it’s really confusing (not to mention neither peaceful nor quiet), to say the least.

According to the netizen (whom we’ll refer to as “C”), he or she has sent “hundreds” of messages to friends and family of JJ over the past month in an attempt to contact the 40-year-old star, who did not respond.

“If you have received [my messages], please contact me personally! Thank you,” wrote C.

    Um, what’s going on?

    Um, what’s going on?

One of the photos accompanying the post shows two gingerbread figures, one male and one female, which seems to suggest that C is a woman, while the man is supposedly JJ.

The other two photos of a very familiar skyline as well as the location geotag show that C is here in Singapore, where Taiwan-based JJ has been visiting since July.

“In the adult world, keeping silent and giving the cold shoulder are the worst ways of doing something,” C continued. “Is it a deep hatred? I don’t think it can even be considered hatred… is there an axe to grind?”

“We already discussed this issue a long time ago, it’s very simple. The answer is in our hearts. The mistakes that happened in the middle also shocked me, and if I could have predicted them, I would not have flown away.”

C then ended the post with: “The most peaceful way is for two adults to communicate by themselves, we no longer have to trouble those around us anymore.”

While C’s exact issue with JJ isn’t clear, this didn’t exactly reflect well on him, especially at a time when another Mandopop star is being relentlessly exposed for his misdeeds.

Well, C certainly got what they wanted in the end: A response from JJ, although it was through his company JFJ Productions, and they definitely don’t sound amused.

After urging all media outlets and netizens to stop making insinuations that are false and lack evidence, JFJ explained that both they and JJ do not usually respond to rumours as they do not want to take up public resources due to the actions of a few troublemakers.

“This does not mean that the fictitious content of the rumours are true, nor do we condone such vile behaviour!” they stated.

JFJ went on to say that they have been paying close attention and collecting evidence to protect JJ’s rights in accordance with the law.

“If anyone has proof that Mr JJ Lin has been involved in any illegal crimes, please report them to the relevant department. Mr JJ Lin and the company will actively cooperate with the investigations to eliminate rumours and baseless accusations,” they declared.

In other words, his hands are clean so bring it on. If you dare, of course.
