'Just love me and have eyes for me only for the rest of your life': Jamie Chua’s 50th birthday request to lawyer boyfriend

The socialite's boyfriend Terence Koh said he initially considered organising a pink tango party in Miami… with the Beckhams for Jamie. We think he was joking.

Have we been watching their love story through social media for a decade already?

Singaporean socialite Jamie Chua is celebrating her 50th birthday today (Oct 24) and what touched us most was an Instagram post from her lawyer boyfriend, Terence Koh, with the sweetest (and quite possibly the cutest) caption:

“Our 10th anniversary of birthday celebrations together! I was under all sorts of immense pressure to put together the greatest JC birthday party of all time — perhaps a Versailles soirée or a Villa D'este Como grand masquerade or a pink tango party in Miami with the Beckhams."

He continued: "But she would have none of it! She just wanted a small & simple celebration with loved ones! My job and brief was simple enough: She said: "Just love me and have eyes for me only for the rest of your life!" I said: "That I can definitely guarantee you darling. My eyesight isn't so good these days. I can’t see much further than you anyway!" Happy Birthday my A S!”

Of course, the ‘Instagram Husband’ still managed to surprise his lady with a huge bouquet of flowers first thing in the morning with a card that read, “Happy Birthday to my one and only!”

We are also guessing Terence has been working on his coffee-making skills as Jamie later posted on her Instagram captioned, tagging her partner: “Hmmm… an improved heart for my special day.”

If you ask us, the simplest of actions are usually the most precious and priceless of them all.

Happy birthday, Jamie!
