Justin Bieber and Wife Hailey "Have Become A Great Team" Amid Recent Health Struggles

Justin Bieber revealed he was down with Ramsay Hunt syndrome over the weekend, while his wife Hailey suffered from a mini-stroke in March.

Justin and Hailey Bieber have become a "great team" amid their recent health struggles.

The 28-year-old pop star recently revealed that he's been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which has caused him to have partial facial paralysis, while Hailey suffered a mini-stroke earlier this year.

A source told People shared: "Between Hailey's health scare earlier this year and now this, it's a lot for them. Hailey is worried as well. Just like Justin did everything he could to take care of Hailey, she now does the same for him."

The insider added: "They are a great team and will get through it together. Justin can't wait to recover and continue working."

The source also said that Justin was “very worried” about the side effects. “It’s really freaking him out.”

According to that insider, even though Justin was told by his doctor that permanent issues are rare, he remains nervous.

But Justin is optimistic that he’ll hit the road soon, the insider said. “He was diagnosed early though and hoping he will be fully recovered in a few weeks.”

Justin took to Instagram over the weekend to speak about his health struggles, after he postponed three shows on his Justice World Tour.

Justin, who married Hailey in 2018, said in a video message: "Hey everyone Justin here, I wanted to update you guys on what’s been going on.

"Obviously as you can probably see with my face. I have this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt syndrome and it is from this virus that attacks the nerves in my ear and my facial nerves and has caused my face to have paralysis.

"Can’t believe I’m saying this. I’ve done everything to get better but my sickness is getting worse.

"My heart breaks that I will have to postpone these next few shows (doctors orders.) To all my people I love you so much and I’m gonna rest and get better."

In March, Hailey shared on her Instagram Story that she had been hospitalised after having “stroke-like symptoms”.

"They found I had suffered a very small blood clot to my brain, which caused a small lack of oxygen, but my body had passed it on its own and I recovered completely within a few hours," she wrote then.

She was later diagnosed with a patent foramen ovale, or PFO, a small opening in the heart that didn’t close the way it should after birth; the condition caused the blood clot to move from her heart to her brain and led to her mini-stroke.

She later underwent a procedure to close the PFO. — BANG SHOWBIZ
