K-pop group Aespa terrified by cockroach running around on stage during performance

Their souls almost left their bodies.

At their gig in Chile last week, K-pop girl group aespa experienced every cockroach hater’s nightmare.

The quartet, made up of members Karina, Winter, Giselle, and Ningning, were halfway through their performance of their song ‘aenergy’, when a cockroach was spotted scurrying across the stage.

Giselle was the first to notice the bug, which was an arm’s length away from her. With a panicked look on her face, she tried her best to avoid the cockroach, making for very hilarious TikToks that have since gone viral online.

The other members were quick to notice the tiny stage invader too

The cockroach really fought for its minute of fame. It lingered on stage, long enough to be spotted by Ningning and Winter as well.

As grossed out by the cockroach as they were, the girls managed to successfully finish the performance without a hitch.

Netizens were amused by the group's reactions, with many also praising aespa for being professional despite the unwanted scene-stealer.
