Kid Asks MP Baey Yam Keng For His Number… So She Can Call Him For Help When Her Car Breaks Down

The Tampines GRC MP and Senior Parliamentary Secretary at the Ministry of Transport takes on interesting questions from cheeky kids in Mediacorp show Hello Big Shots!

The second season of “talk show with a twist”, Hello Big Shots! sure is bringing out the big guns.

After getting actors Elvin Ng and Joanne Peh for the first two episodes, the latest guest just happens to be MP for Tampines GRC and Senior Parliamentary Secretary at the Ministry of Transport Baey Yam Keng, 51.

Like Elvin and Joanne before him, MP Baey had to deal with six excited kids, who were filled with questions for him.

And while some questions were adorably innocent — one kid asked if he “likes being a MP” and another asked why durians are not allowed on the MRT — some took a very strange turn.

Like this one question from a curious boy, who asked the MP if he had ever "farted while someone was giving you an award”.

His answer? "I’ve farted, but not when I was getting an award.”

MP Baey also took the opportunity to flex his very impressive primary school results when asked for his PSLE score, revealing that he’d topped his school's cohort in Primary 6.

However, the most important question was left to the end of the video, when a girl asked MP Baey if he could give her his signature… and his handphone number.

And the reason she wanted his number?
