Linda Chung Seen Shopping For Groceries In Canada, Netizens Call Her A “Goddess Descending On Earth”
The actress made her showbiz comeback in TVB drama Kids' Lives Matter recently but has since returned home to Vancouver.
Hongkong-Canadian actress Linda Chung, 37, recently staged her big showbiz comeback after an absence of almost three years with TVB drama Kids’ Lives Matter.
While the drama’s ratings were a disappointment, Linda , who played a cardiothoracic surgeon, received praise for her acting.
And now some netizens are speculating that Linda might just land a Best Actress nomination at the upcoming TVB Anniversary Awards ceremony.
However, when filming wrapped for Kids’ Lives Matter, Linda immediately flew home to Canada.
The actress has been based in Vancouver since she tied the knot with her chiropractor husband Jeremy Leung in 2015.
When she returned to Hongkong earlier this year to shoot the drama, Jeremy, as well as their two kids Kelly, five, and Jared, three, remained in Canada.
According to reports, Linda is not likely to return to Hongkong any time soon.
In an interview, the actress shared that she does not have any plans to attend an awards ceremony just ‘cos she’s nominated.
She’d also shared previously that she “might never act again” ‘cos she couldn’t stand being apart from her kids.
Recently, one lucky netizen living in Vancouver managed to catch Linda in action. According to him, the actress was at a local supermarket and looked totally at home picking out groceries while dressed in a simple flannel shirt and jeans.
Netizens heaped praise on Linda for her down-to-earth behaviour, describing her as “a goddess descending upon Earth . And a environmentally-conscious one apparently, since they said she was using a recyclable tote.
