Like it or not, face masks aren’t going out of fashion anytime soon. As more of us are returning to the office or heading out post-Circuit Breaker, it's no surprise that more people are investing in reusable masks and even accessories for them. Since we have to wear masks, might as well look good doing it, no? From different colours to fancy prints to fabrics, there’s a lot to choose from. Read on to see what masks local celebs are wearing and where you can snag (or DIY) one for yourself.

Paige’s pastel pink batik mask from Neonatal is just so sweet. The design has been discontinued, but there is still a variety of colours and prints for you to choose from.

  • 2 of 15 Candyce Toh

Candyce and her mini-me Azalea Ang proved that twinning is winning in these matching camo print tees and masks from local label Tracyeinny. Too cute!

  • 3 of 15 Chen Xiuhuan

You can’t buy these “luxury” masks, but you can DIY them if you have your own designer ribbons. Xiuhuan repurposed the ribbons that came with her shopping bags and gift boxes by sewing them on her free government-issued masks. How creative!

  • 4 of 15 Dennis Chew

Dennis’ oriental print mask featuring auspicious Lucky Fish is just what we need right now. There’s even a Fortune Cat design too.

At $105 a pop, the Muttons’ face masks from luxury streetwear label Off-White are probably the most high-SES of the lot.

  • 7 of 15 Pierre Png

Pierre showed his cheeky side — and pearly whites — with this fun transformation mask from Free Movement. Made from neoprene, the mask transforms when you laugh or when the pleats are stretched. Part of the proceeds will go to ARC Children’s Centre, a non-profit charity that cares for children with cancer or life-threatening illnesses.

  • 8 of 15 Jade Seah

Want to keep it simple but not boring? This cotton mask from local label Womb is for you. Aptly called the Minimalist, it comes in a pack of six and is so versatile, you can wear it with everything. 100% of the profits will be donated to local non-profit organisations that are helping the needy.

  • 9 of 15 Shane Pow

Another mask for the minimalists. The four-ply, nanosilver mask by local men’s streetwear label Amos Ananda is lightweight, breathable and suitable for exercise. Pair it with the matching bucket hat with face shield for added protection.

Like Ebi, we love the African wax print masks from OliveAnkara for their vibrant colours and designs. Made from offcut fabrics, the masks are reversible so it’s like getting two masks for the price of one. 10% of the revenue will be donated to local charities helping migrant workers and people in need.
