Retailers Such As Love, Bonito & Sephora Will Continue Operating Online During Circuit Breaker Period

They fall under online retail and related supply chains as part of the CB measures to curb Covid-19.

Love, Bonito's third and largest store at the newly-reopened Funan mall is a feminine and fun retail wonderland that encourages you to touch, feel, play and take lots of photos.

Love, Bonito's third and largest store at the newly-reopened Funan mall is a feminine and fun retail wonderland that encourages you to touch, feel, play and take lots of photos.

The retailers which sell you cute work pants and Spring-themed eyeshadow palettes may not fall under essential services , but thankfully, we can still indulge in retail therapy during Singapore's Circuit Breaker period, from April 7 (today) to May 4.

If your favourite fashion, beauty and lifestyle retailers are operating online, they will be able to carry on delivering their latest goods to your doorstep. Rachel Lim, co-founder of homegrown fashion label Love, Bonito told 8days.sg, We fall under 'Others' in the [Circuit Breaker measures], in the 'online retail and related supply chains' category, so we are exempted [from the suspension of activities at workplace premises]. Those of us who can work from home will work from home. But yes, we are able to [go into our warehouse and pack orders] and carry on with deliveries.

No touching and trying on clothes at Love, Bonito's stores, such as this one at Funan, for now, but the label will continue to offer new arrivals weekly on their website. Returns have been extended to up to 90 days from date of delivery/collection.
Will there be delays in deliveries for Love, Bonito then? Our latest order for Nespresso capsules, placed yesterday, will take almost a week, as opposed to the usual same-day or next-day delivery. According to Rachel, though she is checking with their courier partners, there shouldn't be any changes in deliveries. Also, the company has ensured strict safe distancing and cleaning measures in their warehouse for the safety of their team and customers.

Over at beauty retailer Sephora, it's also business, though not-as-usual. All their retail stores are now closed and they've committed to serving your beauty needs online at Sephora.sg and their Sephora Singapore mobile app. Additionally, they've outlined to their members the precautionary measures they've taken with their delivery partners to make sure you get your products safely. These include daily temperature checks for staff, drivers to carry personal protective equipment such as masks, gloves and sanitisers, and contactless delivery, where drivers will maintain social distance by leaving your packages outside your door and informing you by SMS upon successful delivery.

The swatching of make-up and trying on of skincare at Sephora retail stores such as this one at Westgate is temporarily on hold as Singapore attempts to stem Covid-19 infections. Meanwhile, Sephora continues to deliver your beauty goodies, with precautionary measures in place.
Many of our other favourite local brands continue to operate online and deliver to your door, such as Yacht 21, Beyond the Vines, Our Second Nature, In Good Company, Matter and Charles & Keith. Support local and shop for when things get better.
