Thanks to the heat wave, we were treated to quite a few skin-baring looks this week, courtesy of Julie Tan, Sonia Chew, and Tong Bingyu. Meanwhile, Fann Wong's #girlboss get-up and Felicia Chin's striking dress are as stylish as they are breezy. Read on for more.

1 of 20 Quan Yifeng

Blazers don’t necessarily have to all look stiff and business-like. Yifeng’s pink checked piece here demonstrates that there are ways to inject some fun into boardroom pieces.

2 of 20 Felicia Chin

Felicia’s off-shoulder number brings to mind one of the mood-lifting African print dresses, and it makes summer dressing a cinch. She paired it with understated white sneakers to give her look a bit of a balance.

3 of 20 Denise Camillia Tan

Denise’s sheer corset-like top looked seductive without going too overboard, while her short shorts shine the spotlight on her legs for days.

4 of 20 Julie Tan

No thanks to the year-round hot and humid weather, shorts suits are a must-have for the fashion set in Singapore. Julie was spotted in an eye-pleasing spearmint green edition, and wore it with a bralette for added comfort.

5 of 20 Joanna Dong

From tangerine to shocking pink, there’s never a colour too daring for Joanna. Here, she went bold with the two strong hues, creating an eye-popping look for her National Day performance.

6 of 20 Jade Seah

We love slip dresses because the stylish staple (this one's from local label hher) can be easily dressed up or down. Jade kept the rest of her look equally muted by choosing minimal accessories and nothing too clashing.

7 of 20 Sonia Chew

We love how minimalist and understated Sonia’s pool get-up is. By picking clean and print-free pieces, we can see ourselves wearing the separates again and again.

8 of 20 Zoe Tay

Ah Jie went for double denim this week, sporting a structured denim jacket and matching high waist jeans. She’d even picked a dark blue face mask to go with her look — definitely A for effort!

9 of 20 Kishan J

This week, we saw many celebs turning to their Instagrams to post their well wishes for Singapore. Kishan’s National Day get-up caught our eyes because of how close to heart his Puma T-shirt design looks. It reminded us of the Chinese old school calendar which is a familiar sight at our grandparents’ home.

10 of 20 Tong Bingyu

If the recent sweltering weather has been getting on your nerves, take a leaf out of Bingyu’s stylebook by wearing lesser and more breathable pieces. The shrug-it-on ease of her satin robe makes jumping into the swimming pool or bathtub an effortless affair.

  • 11 of 20 Tay Kewei, Xiao Pian Pian, Alfred Sim, and Shen Momo

Kewei and Alfred, who welcomed their second son Xiao Pian Pian in June, were decked out in military-inspired get-ups over the NDP weekend. Even the ever adorable Momo got in on the theme, donning an orange onesie and printed face mask.

  • 12 of 20 Sophie Gollifer

Thanks to the intricate floral prints and body-hugging design, Sophie’s one-piece here embodies both sexy and cutesy in good measure. Oh, her cherry earrings make for a fun and whimsical accessory too.

  • 13 of 20 Stefanie Sun

Stefanie looked like a vision performing on stage at the NDP evening show. We couldn’t take our eyes off her outfit, especially her top which has extremely long and grand-looking sleeves that obviously say: “Go big or go home.”

  • 14 of 20 Cheryl Wee

Workwear need not be dull and boring. Case in point: Cheryl’s nude top features puffy sleeves that play with proportions to inject some fun into your 9-to-5 wardrobe. Complete the look with a pair of leopard print pumps.

  • 15 of 20 Suthasini Rajenderan

Singer Suthasini, who was one of the hosts at this year’s National Day Parade, looked gorgeous and camera-ready in this off-shoulder red frock. She wore the cocktail number with sparkly accessories and heels to glam up her look.

  • 16 of 20 Jeanette Aw

In fashion, there are a few pieces that rarely go out of style — such as the white shirt and jeans that we see on Jeanette’s OOTD here. She matched them with a Celine red crossbody and newsboy cap for a casual weekend-appropriate look.

  • 17 of 20 Tyler Ten

Tyler’s off-duty look here, made up of a simple logo T-shirt and jeans, is an easy combo for the guys to copy. Those who’re adventurous can pair this with studded sneakers for more swag.

  • 18 of 20 Simone Heng

Dramatic frills, high hemline and the unmissable keyhole design combine to make this all-eyes-on-me piece on Simone.

  • 19 of 20 Kym Ng

Although it was recently been announced that there’ll be no Star Awards this year, we were still being treated to a red carpet worthy OOTD by All-Time Favourite Artiste, Kym this week. The striking red hue on this gorgeous tulle confection definitely deserves a second look.

  • 20 of 20 Fann Wong

If you’ve been following Fann’s Instagram, you’ll know that the she has transformed into a domestic goddess since the start of the Circuit Breaker. This week, she turned back into a stylish star, posing outdoors in this work-appropriate BOSS getup. We love that she chose a pair of metallic silver heels that added a rebellious touch to her girl boss look.
