The lack of fashion parties hasn’t dampened some of our local celebrities’ mood to dress up to the nines (cue Fiona Xie, Desmond Tan and Jeanette Aw). Elsewhere, Jean Danker and Jade Seah gave us a crash course on how to work a flirty dress and vacay-ready getup respectively.

1 of 18 Taufik Batisah

Guys, if you want a suit that stands out from the usual black and navy ones, why not opt for Taufik’s maroon get-up here. Its colour doesn’t scream out loud, and it's the perfect balance of contemporary and classic.

2 of 18 Jeanette Aw

Jeanette looked ravishing and ready for a date in this Dior getup, featuring the iconic bar jacket, polka dot sheer dress and Lady D-Lite bag from the Diorarmour capsule collection.

3 of 18 Kimberly Chia

When it comes to swimwear, black swimsuits can look too common and floral print ones can be too bold for some of us. If you want something in-between, pick this emerald green bikini on Kimberly which looks understated yet stylish.

4 of 18 Desmond Tan

We can always count on Desmond to show the guys how to dress fashionably. The actor wore a Fendi suit for a livestream, and check out the illustrations on it — they make the suit look a lot like a 3D drawing.

5 of 18 Sheila Sim

Mum-to-be Sheila looked like a screen goddess in this pleat dress, showing off her bump, and went for slicked-back hair to complete her look.

6 of 18 Jean Danker

We’re loving how Jean styled her outfit here. Instead of reaching for a pair of stilettos to match her slip dress, she wore the new Superga X DreaChong sneakers for a sexy meets sweet girl look.

7 of 18 Rebecca Lim

National Day is coming up and we think we’ve found a great getup that fits the theme. Rebecca gets in the celebratory mood by donning a red and white outfit that looks stylish and perfect for wearing on August 9 to show your love for Singapore.

8 of 18 Tong Bingyu

The great thing about shirt dresses is that they offer a relaxed silhouette that ensures comfort, and its above-the-knee hem creates the illusion of legs for days. Bingyu exuded youthfulness in her mustard dress which she wore with chunky sneakers that added a sporty edge to her outfit.

9 of 18 Ian Fang

Whether it’s hanging out with the guys or going on a date with your SO, an aloha shirt is a great choice because it’s easy to wear and feels incredibly comfortable. The crane prints make Ian’s Hawaiian shirt look a lot more interesting. Wear this on its own or over a white T-shirt if you love layers.

  • 10 of 18 Fiona Fussi

For the conservative crowd, Fiona’s backless dress may be a no-go. But we think it takes serious confidence, courage and workout hours to rock this sexy number.

  • 11 of 18 Alfred Sim

For his latest music video shoot, the father-of-two donned a monochrome outfit by fashion label Yishu. Look closer and you’ll spot some oriental touches in the design, giving guys a stylish alternative to the usual black and white suits.

  • 12 of 18 Oon Shu An

With its streamlined silhouette, the red leather dress by Longchamp is a classic piece worth investing in. Shu An paired it with pearl earrings from APM Monaco, keeping her look chic and classy.

  • 13 of 18 Jade Seah

Jade, who recently underwent a surgery for her broken nose, looked all cheery this week in this vacay-ready outfit. We love her tasselled robe from Blackbird by Soon Lee, which boasts stripes, floral embroidery and tassels that help add style points to casual outfits.

  • 14 of 18 Rachel Wan

Graphic T-shirts don’t just look good with denim, they can be worn stylishly with prints too. Rachel matched her Money Heist tee with a polka dot skirt for a comfy-chic look.

  • 15 of 18 Ang Junyang

A look at Junyang’s #OOTD and we’re immediately drawn to his Nike kicks. The fancy footwear is accented with neon hues, looking extra sporty and stylish. When wearing this kind of shoes, it’ll be wise to keep the rest of your outfit pared down to avoid an OTT look.

  • 16 of 18 Michelle Wong

If you’re currently working from home, then dressing up for your virtual meetings can be a chore. Steal Michelle’s trick here — style your outfit to look professional on top, and wear whatever you want below the waist to stay comfy throughout the day.

  • 17 of 18 Xiang Yun

Xiang Yun looked elegant, feminine and camera-ready in this two-piece, featuring a white blouse with popped frilly collar, and a printed skirt. It’s a get-up that can be worn on weekdays for work or weekends for brunches with your besties.

  • 18 of 18 Jasmine Sim

Whether you need some motivation to hit the gym or you just want to show off your stylish workout gear, give Jasmine’s bold and sporty outfit here a go.
