MasterChef Singapore Returns — Season 3 To Launch On May 1

Chefs Audra Morrice, Bjorn Shen and Damian D’Silva are returning as judges.

Season 3 of MasterChef Singapore will drop May 1 on meWATCH, Channel 5, and Mediacorp Entertainment YouTube Channel.

Chefs Audra Morrice, Bjorn Shen and Damian D’Silva are back as judges, deciding the fates of the 12 participants who will be showing off their culinary prowess in assorted high-pressure challenges. The premiere kicks off with 18 contestants before the list is whittled down to 12 at the end of the episode.

The Top 12 home cooks will have the opportunity to compete in the MasterChef kitchen and the last chef standing will take home prizes amounting to over S$100,000 worth of cash and merchandise.

This season’s batch of contenders includes actors (hello, Eka Mairina), uni students (one of them is the boyfriend of Season 1 runner-up Genevieve Lee) teachers, investors, stay-at-home mothers and a food delivery driver.

Last season, the MasterChef Singapore trophy went to engineering student Derek Cheong while private tutor Leon Lim was named runner-up.

Masterchef Singapore Season 3 premieres May 1 on meWATCH and Channel 5, 9.30pm, with episodes available on the same night via Mediacorp Entertainment YouTube Channel.
