Nasty Netizens Troll Carman Lee, 55, By Saying She Has “Flabby Arms” In New Video
Seriously?! How is that flabby?
Hongkong actress Carman Lee, 55, is the latest celeb to fall prey to mean-spirited comments from online trolls.
Carman shot to fame after playing Xiao Long Nu aka the Little Dragon Girl in the 1995 TV adaptation of wuxia novel The Return Of The Condor Heroes, and is widely known as the 'Most Beautiful Xiao Long Nu'.
However, a number of netizens have taken it upon themselves to criticise the actress after watching her new video. In the short clip, Carman dances along to a song while dressed in a cheongsam.
As part of the dance, Carman can be seen swinging her arms, with netizens zeroing in on this ‘flaw’.
“The skin on your arms can’t seem to hide your age…” read a comment, which garnered 1422 likes.
Another netizen wrote: “You need to exercise your arms, [the skin’s] a little loose”, with another adding: “You’re old now, [and] you have flabby arms.”
Others also poked fun at Carman’s age, writing that the actress “has no more collagen” left, since our body tends to produce less collagen as we age.
Luckily, there were netizens who stood up for Carman.
Like this netizen who wrote: Can anyone truly remain ageless? [Being able to] age gracefully is the best show of beauty”.
You can say that again.
