Netizens Suspect Alex Man Is Suffering From Dementia After He Uploads Video Of Him “Talking Incoherently” & Eating Lunch By The Road

Talk about jumping to conclusions.

Well, this is a pretty bizarre assumption. According to media reports, Chinese netizens now believe that veteran Hongkong actor, Alex Man, 64, is suffering from dementia, after watching a video uploaded by the actor on March 1.

In the video, Alex is dressed in a red coat, and appears to be filming some sort of vlog. Netizens and media described the actor as having “age spots”, with “ droopy eyelids” and a “forehead full of wrinkles”.

In the video, Alex first greets the camera, revealing that he’s currently squatting by the road to have his boxed lunch. Then, he pans the camera over to two younger-looking guys, who appear to be having their lunch as well.

Alex is described as “continuously chatting to the camera”, and seemed to be asking the two guys a number of questions. However, they didn’t seem too enthused to be speaking to Alex, and barely replied him.

Then, the actor suddenly bursts out laughing. Upon realising that the two guys did not react to him at all, Alex then stands up and walks away, before complaining that it’s like a “ghost town” where he’s at.

He then pans the camera away from him to show his surroundings, revealing that there was indeed no one else around.

After that, the actor starts laughing again, and continues on his merry way, talking and laughing at the same time.

While the video comes across as a little bizarre, netizens immediately assumed the worst, claiming that Alex is definitely suffering from dementia now. Others also expressed concern about the actor’s mental state, wondering if Alex is “doing okay” these days.

All that, from one single video.
