Netizens Think Barbie Hsu’s Mum Looks Like Rosmah, Wife Of Malaysia’s Ex PM Najib Razak

Ever since Barbie Hsu and ex-husband, Chinese businessman Wang Xiaofei, began their public spat over alimony last month, both their families have been thrust into the spotlight.

And now, Barbie’s mum, who came forward to speak up for her daughter, is making the news in Malaysia. 

Recently, a netizen posted on xiaohongshu a collage of Mama Hsu and the wife of former Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak, Rosmah Mansor, with the text “long-lost sisters” emblazoned across it.

“I can’t be the only one on the internet who noticed this #longlostsisters,” captioned the netizen.

"I was shocked when I saw a photo of Mama [Hsu]. She looks so elegant but also looks like the long-lost sister of Sister Hippo,” added the netizen, referring to Rosmah, who was previously compared to a hippopotamus. 

Come to think of it, there are some similarities, especially their eyes and smile. We mean between Rosmah and Mama Hsu, not the hippo.

The post sparked a discussion online, with many netizens agreeing with the comparisons.

There were comments like “No wonder I found [Mama Hsu] familiar,” and “I’ve always felt they looked alike” and “Your discovery is too timely”.

There were also some who pointed out that "it's not good to comment about a person's appearance".
