Netizens Unhappy That Show Luo Will Be Headlining Taiwan Countdown Show

It will be his first performance since his career-killing scandal a year-and-a-half ago.

After the love Show Luo received for his new single, you’d think that fans would welcome the Taiwanese pop star’s comeback performance.

Apparently not.

A netizen recently shared a promotional poster for the Hualien New Year's Eve concert, in which Show, 42, is the headliner, on a private Facebook group.

Touted to feature the “strongest line-up” in Taiwan, the countdown show will also see performances by rapper Nick Chou and Malaysian singer Andrew Tan.

This is Show’s first major public appearance since his career-killing cheating scandal, as well as his first performance since his comeback.

However, it seems like some netizens still have not gotten over his infidelities and recent reports of Wang Leehom’s numerous infidelities did not help matters.

There were comments like "Do you really think Taiwanese are forgetful?", "Did the host invite Hu Die Jie Jie (aka Linda Chien who admitted to an affair with Show)?", and "Change to Hom Hom next year,” referring to BY2 Yumi Bai’s nickname for Leehom.

But there were also fans who spoke up for the star, urging netizens to give him a second chance.

“He is after all human and will make mistakes. He has the right to turn over a new leaf,” said one fan, while another wrote: "Why can't he be invited? What does his morals have to do with his work?”
