Well, the Qi family certainly knows how to live it up.

Just a few months after enjoying a luxurious staycationQi Yuwu’s first one! — at Marina Bay Sands, the actor and his wife Joanne Peh boarded a Dream Cruises ship with their two kids, six-year-old daughter Baby Qi and four-year-old son Qi Didi.

Yes, we still don’t know the names of the children yet (or what they even look like, for that matter), although the fiercely protective parents did give us plenty more glimpses of their little ones during the seacation on Instagram.

Although they never stated how long their getaway was, Joanne revealed that they celebrated Halloween (Oct 31) on board, and the couple both shared pics from their trip on Thursday (Nov 4).

In Joanne’s post, the 38-year-old gushed about the “precious memories” she shared with her brood, recalling how 715 would “push (literally) the children to overcome their fear of going on the water slide alone”.

Don’t worry, no kids were traumatised in the process. “I’m glad he did that with them anyway, [‘cos] the children enjoyed every bit,” Joanne reported.

Not forgetting to make time for each other, Joanne and Ah Wu also managed to sneak away “to enjoy a much needed jacuzzi and massage” on one of the days.

“It’s such a wonderful experience traveling with family cos’ I get to learn more about my husband and the little ones through the new experiences together (sic),” wrote Joanne.

As for Ah Wu, he said that Baby Qi and Qi Didi had started counting down the days to the cruise 10 days before. We certainly don’t blame them for being so excited.

“They kept asking questions like: ‘Why are there restaurants on board? Why are there games on board? Why is there a swimming pool up there?’ Up until the moment they got on the ship, they still couldn’t believe they were there ‘cos the ship was just too big,” he wrote.

“This trip is a wonderful memory for our family. Even though it’s not easy taking care of children, there are many moments that make it worthwhile,” he continued, adding that seeing his family happy makes him feel happy as well.

While it’s nice to see snapshots of the wholesome family fun they were having, we couldn’t help but realise that soon-to-be 45-year-old Ah Wu — his birthday’s later this month — is very much part of the Fit Fortysomething-And-Above Dads Club, which also counts Zheng Geping, Edmund Chen, George Young, and Wu Chun as ‘members’.

Even YES 933 jock Kunhua couldn’t help but point this out in the comments, remarking: “I also want to ask: Why does Papa (referring to Ah Wu) have such a good physique?”

Yup, 715’s still very much got it… 17 years after stripping down to his swimming trunks in 2004’s The Champion.
