Raymond Lam’s Billionaire Younger Brother Makes Rare Appearance At Opening Of Actor’s Restaurant

Meet 31-year-old Rockefeller Lam.

Hong Kong actor Raymond Lam’s popularity is booming, after his appearance in the second season of reality competition Call Me By Fire.

And of course, the smartest thing to do would be to cash in on this popularity, right? Which is presumably why the 43-year-old has opened a new restaurant in Shenzhen, China, with his friends.

Celeb-spotting time.

The restaurant boasts a chef who used to work in a Michelin-starred restaurant, and serves up “high-end cuisine”.

To add to the star power, Raymond’s celeb friends, like Ron Ng, Tom Price, Oscar Leung, Jade Leung and Derek Kok, turned up in full force for the restaurant’s opening ceremony.

But the celebs weren’t the focus of the day.

Neither was the restaurant.

Rather, Raymond’s younger brother, Rockefeller Lam, 31, was all netizens and media alike could talk about. Yes, he's named after the world's first billionaire.

The two brothers look to be pretty close, no?

Rockefeller, who also goes by Rocky, studied business at the University of Southern California. Reports claim that he has been shadowing their dad, real estate tycoon Lam Kwok Wah for the past few years.

Apart from taking charge of the family business, Rockefeller has also branched out to invest in other businesses, including a million-dollar nightclub in Xiamen, China, which was borne out of his love for music.

Netizens heaped praise upon Rockefeller, with some nothing that he’s “pretty handsome”, while others noted that the brothers really resembled each other.
