Food, glorious food! This week, the stars indulged in (and tempted us with) a variety of delights, from mouth-wateringly spicy fried chicken and quirky jellies to unique home-cooked dishes like bak kut teh porridge and even motivational cookies. Read on for more!

1 of 19 Thomas Ong

What he ate: La zi ji (spicy fried chicken)

Yummy factor: We can't be sure if Thomas is having a fried chicken dish garnished with dried chilli, or the other way around. In any case, he seems to be enjoying the fiery challenge!

2 of 19 Jacelyn Tay

What she ate: Modern dim sum

Yummy factor: Jacelyn spent some quality time with her son Zavier at Social Place, where they had the cutest custard pig pudding (that wiggled with every movement), mahjong-shaped jelly, charcoal custard buns, dim sum platter, and more. Talk about an Insta-worthy meal!

3 of 19 Jaime Teo

What she ate: Yong tau foo

Yummy factor: One of Jaime’s favourite places to get her fix of Hakka-style yong tau foo is at Chong’s Hakka Yong Tau Foo, located at St George's Road. Filled with only the good stuff, each bowl features handmade items like stuffed tau pok, tau kua and bean skin rolls. Of course, the proprietary spicy chilli is a must-have!

4 of 19 Yasminne Cheng

What she ate: Crispy chicken burger

Yummy factor: Yasminne tried Shake Shack’s Chick’n Shack, and absolutely dug the fried chicken breast patty that came sandwiched in between buttermilk mayo and their famed potato buns. As for dessert, the new Open Sesame Concrete is a winner for her - especially the brownie chunks within!

5 of 19 Yvonne Lim

What she ate: Fried Hokkien mee

Yummy factor: Home is never too far away for Yvonne, who’s always whipping up yummy local favourites in Taiwan. This time, her fried Hokkien mee looks exceptionally legit, and we bet it’d go well with some homemade sambal belacan. Who else thinks she should seriously consider setting up a restaurant in Taiwan selling Singaporean favourites?

6 of 19 Michelle Wong

What she ate: Reminder cookies

Yummy factor: Michelle decided to put her baking skills to good use by starting a new movement with her butter cookies, all lovingly baked and featuring encouraging messages, like “Kindness is contagious”. While it's currently just a hobby, Michelle says she's open to selling these cookies of wisdom in the future so stay tuned to her Instagram page (@remindercookies) for updates.

7 of 19 Mark Lee

What he ate: Chicken soup

Yummy factor: So Mark received a special delivery of nourishing chicken soup from the boss of Chinese restaurant Yun Nans himself, and we can't help but notice how the flask was filled with plenty of nutritious ingredients. He's definitely in for a treat, considering how the soup had been simmered for four hours!

8 of 19 Xu Bin

What he ate: Hotpot at Hai Di Lao and birthday cakes

Yummy factor: Happy birthday, Xu Bin! His wifey Evelyn Wong managed to pull off a surprise celebration for him at Hai Di Lao, where close friends like Kimberly Chia were in attendance to celebrate his 31st birthday on Wednesday (Feb 19). Also, he probably wasn't expecting the birthday cake to be in slices and adorned with random cut fruits — at least his boss and mentor Dasmond Koh got him a better looking one!

9 of 19 Evelyn Tan

What she ate: Quinoa bowl

Yummy factor: The 933 DJ is on a mission to eat healthier so she got herself a kombucha and quinoa bowl filled with smoked salmon, roasted butternut pumpkin, avocado and kale (how colourful!) at Pazzion Cafe. She's definitely getting her greens in, along with a healthy portion of Omega-3.

10 of 19 Chua Enlai

What he ate: Fish curry

Yummy factor: In case you were wondering, the bubbling claypot of lemak fish curry Enlai had in Johor Bahru was from the famous Kam Long Ah Zai. We can only imagine how heavenly it must taste with a mountain of fluffy rice and curry-soaked tau kee.

11 of 19 Rosalyn Lee

What she ate: Bak kut teh porridge

Yummy factor: We don't know about you, but having an aromatic bowl of bak kut teh porridge and perfectly-crisp dough fritters sounds like the perfect way to spend the weekend. We so need the recipe for this!

12 of 19 Kym Ng

What she ate: Brunch platter

Yummy factor: Kym showed off her inner domestic goddess and made brunch for two with a medley of hearty ingredients like sausages and beans. Plus, we love how her first attempt at making poached eggs turned out!

13 of 19 Kelly Poon

What she ate: Fookin’ yummy dinner

Yummy factor: Dinner at Fook Kin with influencer gal pal Beatrice Tan and her plus one saw them tucking into signatures like the Salted Egg Lotus Root, Dang Gui Roast Duck, roast meat platter and more - perfect way to get over the mid-week hump.

14 of 19 Edmund Chen and Xiang Yun

What they ate: South African delights

Yummy factor: Edmund and Xiang Yun, together with their son, Chen Yixi, got to enjoy an authentic South African-style meal (read: meat-heavy, with herbed wings, grilled chops and more) when they visited former actress Zheng Wanling and her family, who used to live there.

15 of 19 Jean Danker and Glenn Ong

What they ate: Korean army stew

Yummy factor: Jean and Glenn’s cosy Valentine’s dinner at home is proof that romance doesn’t have to be an extravagant affair. Comfort food like fried chicken wings and a pot of Korean army stew (albeit paired with bubbly) makes for a delish and celebration too.

16 of 19 Belinda Lee

What she ate: Fancy homemade waffles

Yummy factor: According to Belinda, “cooking is love made visible” — hence the plate of rosemary bacon waffles with assorted berries for the waffle-lovin’ husband! A drizzle of organic honey completed the love-filled dish.

17 of 19 Chen Xiuhuan

What she ate: Colourful xiao long bao

Yummy factor: Xiuhuan made a pit stop at Paradise Dynasty to fill her tummy before getting on her flight to Australia, and got herself a tray of these multi-coloured xiao long baos. Good choice - she'll probably be missing Asian food for a while. Yum!

18 of 19 Vivian Lai

What she ate: Gelato

Yummy factor: Check out Vivian’s cone of gelato from Cioccolati Italiani in Milan - it's piled high with at least three flavours and whipped cream! Well, we suppose she's gotta make the most out of her visit to the popular shop!

19 of 19 Jocie Guo

What she ate: Bubble tea

Yummy factor: Jocie popped by Machi Machi Singapore to lend her support to Hong Junyang, only to find herself addicted to their beverages - so much so that she needed a “refill” from their wall art!
