In this week’s Insta-buzz, we’ve got a very welcome surprise visitor, loads of love and celebration (guess who had an absolutely gorgeous wedding celebration this weekend?), hand-painted art galore and a Curious Case of Benjamin-Button situation.

Read on for more!

1 of 11 Kelly Poon revealed her lovely pre-wedding photos.

The newly-married Kelly sure is starting off the week right, by dropping these absolutely gorgeous pictures from her pre-wedding shoot on Instagram, complete with multiple outfit changes. But wait… there’s more.

2 of 11 ‘Cos it turns out that the star held her wedding celebration this week too!

Congrats, Kelly! The happy couple threw a wedding bash to celebrate their union on Saturday (Nov 21) in Taiwan. And yes, a couple of our Taiwan-based local celebs joined in on the festivities too, like Huang Jinglun, and Yvonne Lim.

3 of 11 Chew Chor Meng turned 52

And the actor marked the special day with a dinner celebration with Xu Bin, who played his son in Mediacorp drama 881, and Xu Bin's own son, Ethan. Little Ethan even got the honour of blowing out the candle on Chor Meng’s birthday cake. Cute.

4 of 11 And the award for the biggest bouquet of flowers we’ve seen on our feed this week goes to….

Chen Xiuhuan, who celebrated her wedding anniversary with her Taiwanese businessman husband in the sweetest way possible. Congrats, you lovebirds.

5 of 11 Siti Khalijah had a surprise guest at a showing of her theatre show, ‘An Actress Prepares’

Yep, that’s Sengkang MP, Raeesah Khan, with Siti. And according to Siti’s caption, not only did Raeesah attend the (sold-out) show, she even prepared a handwritten card for the actress. Aww…

6 of 11 Lawrence Wong’s back in Singapore

We’re not sure how long the jet-setting star will be back in town for, but it looks like he already has a very busy schedule ahead of him, with a number of his friends clamouring for a catch-up sesh in the comments section. Welcome home!

7 of 11 Jeanette Aw got artsy with it (and how to get your hands on her art)

Okay, it really shouldn’t come as a surprise how artistically-inclined Jeanette Aw is. After all, she is an illustrator, director, actress, and baker (did we miss out anything?). And so, it stands to reason that her collaboration with local lifestyle goods brand Supermama is crazy pretty. The porcelain plate, which went on sale on Friday (Nov 20) at Supermama’s website, boasts a design inspired by Singapore’s national flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim, and Jeanette’s original character, Sol.

8 of 11 Just simple #WFH things with Pornsak

Or more accurately, #WFW (work from warehouse) things.

That day, I was hosting Mdada's live (P.S: Mdada’s a Facebook livestream page selling varied beauty and wellness products started by Pornsak, Michelle Chong and Addy Lee) and had to go on a zoom interview on [Channel 8] around the same time. I left my live streaming station, found a comfortable spot, flipped my laptop and I was on TV. We live in such exciting times. Let's embrace every single moment. Enjoy da ride. 9 of 11 Looks like Romeo Tan’s really loving his new role

The actor, who’s starring in upcoming Mediacorp drama Old Soul looks pretty enamoured with his new look, which sees him seated in front of a make-up mirror for hours on end in order to reveal his older self.

Unfortunately, it looks like Romeo’s niece and nephew aren’t exactly in love with this new look.

Took me awhile to convince them for this picture…
Me: Skyler and Stacy, come let's take a pic together.
Skyler: errr... You are?
Stacy: ... *door slam* (sic),” Romeo shared in his caption.

Oops.

10 of 11 Sora Ma has a painful PSA for everyone

According to the actress, she injured her hand while filming last week, but did not seek medical advice, despite the initial pain.

However, after five to six days, she realised that her hand was still hurting. And after going to a TCM practitioner, she found out that she’d actually fractured a bone in her hand.

Ouch!

“The point of this is to tell [everyone] not to think that everything’s fine just ‘cos you’re able to get up and walk after falling. Quickly make your way to the doctor’s for treatment or medicine. Not only will you be able to recover faster, you’ll be able to heal properly,” Sora wrote.

11 of 11 #nofilter, for real

The PS5 is finally here, and for these stars, it’s not an Instagram AR filter trick. Amongst the many gamers who got their eager hands on the gaming console in the week after its launch are Lee Teng, Ian Fang and Joakim Gomez.
