Insta-Buzz: What The Stars Were Up To This Week
Here are some of our favourite snaps from the past week.
Christmas is but two weeks away and the celebs are revving up for the most wonderful time of the year. One star got a Christmas tree from her fans while another bought a log cake for his stylist ‘cos he “felt like having some”. Indeed, it’s better to give – and then receive again.
Xiuhuan let her artistic juices flow and recorded a time lapse video of how she designed a gingerbread house. If only she had done a video of how she demolished, um, we mean, ate it afterwards.
Rui En won’t be meeting her fan club, RBKD, this festive season because of COVID-19, but her fans made sure the actress knows she’s loved by sending her a live Christmas tree.
Now that Ah Wu is back in Singapore, he and Joanne are virtually inseparable. They’ve been busy running errands ahead of the festive season, though we wonder if getting his hair cut is on the to-do list as well.
The actor quipped, “We Shelleys never eat at a dinner party. We just pose and stare at each other. And flex. Happy holidays!” Co-star Elizabeth Lee agreed wholeheartedly. Looking at the plate of food in front of him, we can’t help but think: You Shelleys neglect such good-looking food.
“Felt like eating a #logcake, but they don't sell it in slices, so bought it for [my stylist] as a #birthdaycake instead, since it was her birthday yesterday,” quipped Elvin. Sly, this one.
Why tag your friends on Instagram when you can scrawl their names across the screen in red as if they owe you money? Liza and her husband, Law Kar-ying, met Charlene Choi and Kenny Kwan at lunch, but her epic way of identifying people grabbed all the attention instead.
The trio might not be able to perform together because of copyright issues with their former label, but they’ve shown that their relationship goes beyond business as they meet up for fun dressed in perfectly-coordinated parkas.
Remember when Zhenhuan and Sally broke up and deleted all the photos they took together from their respective social media accounts? They’re making up for lost time by posting a ton of couple shots after announcing that they’re having a baby. Cute.
The actor assured fans that he was recovering from his back injury. “Slowly but surely, I'll be back and well!” he wrote. “These precious ones were so gentle during the walk like they understood they need to be.” Get well soon, Desmond!
