Jean Danker’s Throwback Pic Of Her And Husband Glenn Ong When They Were 16 and 24 Is So Sweet And So Funny

Class 95 DJ Jean Danker has been on a #throwback roll lately on IG, treating her fans to several aww-inducing snaps.

On Sunday (Oct 11), Jean posted the first of her “How it started VS how it’s going” series with three pics: a moody childhood photo of her when she was six, one of her dog Biscuit, and a shot of a plant she grew herself (third pic).

I was in K2 and we were supposed to take solo pics for our graduation certificates, wrote Jean. On the scheduled day that this was supposed to happen, my mum dressed me up real nice, styled my hair and everything. Only for me to go to school and they say it's been postponed. Of course, days later, without warning, they got the photographer in to take the pics and I was sweaty, had been running around and pissed that they didn't tell me beforehand and waste my mum's efforts days before. So this was my screw it, I'm just gonna make the moodiest face face and I'm smiling for no one.

A number of Jean’s followers took to the comments section to point out Jean's “resting bitch face” while another suggested she post a pic of Jean's husband ONE FM 91.3 DJ Glenn Ong.

And she delivered.

Jean managed to dig out a snap of her and Glenn from way back — 25 years ago in 1995, to be exact — when they were both jocks on 987FM.

Then, Jean was just 16 while Glenn was 24.

8days.sg contacted Jean, she said: “Many years ago when Glenn and I first started going out, Glenn’s mum found this pic in his stash of things at their house. And she passed it to us. It’s been missing ever since, until last night! I found it in a very old photo album!”

Her followers weren't the only ones who found the #throwback pic funny. According to Jean she couldn’t “stop laughing [while] looking at it.”

“[What was hilarious] was the very obvious awkward platonic distance between us and obviously I looked like such a nerdy xiao mei mei. No make-up, Planet Hollywood tee, and scrunchie on my wrist!” Jean quipped.

The couple only started dating 14 years later in 2009. They announced their engagement in 2011, and tied the knot five years later in 2016.
