Netizen Says Chen Hanwei's Recent IG Post Looks Like Mala Xiang Guo

And now we're craving it.

Over the weekend, Chen Hanwei took to Instagram to post this swimming pool snap. And well, there’s quite a bit to talk about, judging from the comments left by his celeb friends and netizens alike.

“How I feel during the weekend,” wrote Hanwei, adding: “Missing home, and missing you, and you.”

A sweet and slightly nostalgic post, right?

But Hanwei’s cation was accompanied by a picture of him lounging in a vividly red swimming pool.

Which was why this netizen left this spicy message.

“I thought it was mala xiang guo, haha”, commented the netizen. And he's not wrong. The blood red pool does remind one of chili oil, no?

1 of 3 Yep, it's really, really, red

And no, before you ask, the pool’s red hue is not ‘cos Hanwei added a colour filter or anything.

Hanwei had taken that photo when he was on holiday in Koh Samui some time back and the actor had visited The Library hotel, which is known for it's ruby red pool.

But back to the post itself. Never one to miss the opportunity to joke around with his celeb friends, Dennis Chew also chimed in with a comment.

“It seems [we] have to wear so little during the weekend, thank you brother for the tip,” he wrote, drawing attention to Hanwei’s teeny tiny trunks.

3 of 3 And Hanwei's not backing down either

But, it looks like Hanwei’s managed to turn the tables on Dennis.

“You can choose not to wear anything as well, if you’re tired of living,” Hanwei joked in his reply to Dennis.

Guess it’s Hanwei-1, Dennis-0, for this short exchange.
