Zoe Tay Gives Bras To Stefanie Sun & Sharon Au; Stef Jokes About Zoe “Thinking Very Highly” Of Her Size

Stefanie Sun, 42, recently took to her Instagram Stories to share a snap of a gift box she had received, which consisted of two lacy bralettes and several bottles of perfume.

Sounds pretty romantic, right? But no, they did not come from her husband of 10 years, Dutch-Indonesian businessman Nadim Van Der Ros — instead, they were sent by none other than Zoe Tay.

Wow, who knew they were that close?

The present was accompanied by a handwritten note addressed to Stef’s Chinese name and signed off by Zoe and fragrance brand F’Diary.

“A sudden sweet surprise,” Stef wrote in her caption. “Ah Jie, you really think very highly of (my size) hor.”

In other words, the singer was basically making a self-deprecating remark about the bralettes being a little too big for her, um, assets.

Fans certainly picked up on the joke and left comments to comfort her, with one saying, “You’re mocking yourself again. Don’t worry, your size is trendy now.”

And then there were slightly creepier responses like “So what is your real size?” and “I want to see you put it on and take a selfie in it”.

Seriously, guys? Control yourselves!

Also receiving the same package from Zoe was Sharon Au, who is again back in Singapore from France and is currently serving 21 days of quarantine.

“When I was a rookie in the industry and had to interview [Zoe,] she knew I was nervous and made extra effort to be affable and reassuring,” she wrote in her IG post. “Now I’m all grown up and she continues to care and encourage. That’s why she is our Ah Jie forever.”

When 8days.sg reached out to The Celebrity Agency to ask if Zoe happens to be a celebrity ambassador for the two brands, they confirmed that she is not and that she was just supporting her friend.
