On September 25, Alien Huang was cremated at the Taipei Mortuary Services Office Second Funeral Parlor. And the late star, whose death sent shockwaves throughout the industry, was accompanied on his final journey by his family and friends. Stars like Rainie Yang and Ann Hsu, as well as Alien's girlfriend, Qun Qun, were all spotted at the funeral home prior to the cremation. Reporters noted that the sendoff was an extremely emotional affair, with his loved ones weeping openly during the ceremony.

Jacky Wu spoke to the media after the funeral, saying: “A lot of people went to see him for the last time. He was very handsome, and he looked like he was asleep [while he was laying in his coffin].”

After the cremation, Alien’s remains were brought to Zhen Shan Yuan on Yangmingshan, where a ‘flower burial’ was performed. A flower burial is when a person's ashes are scattered into the soil of his grave, which will be planted with flowers.

Alien's family reportedly decided on a flower burial because they want him to be able to rest in a bed of flowers. They have also decided not to not mark his grave with a headstone or a marker of any sort.

After the news was released, the topic of flower burials started to pique the interest of the public as it's a relatively new form of burial. There are currently only nine cemeteries in Taiwan that provide such services, and most of them do not require any burial fees.

Alien was found dead at the age of 36 on September 16, and an autopsy performed on September 18 showed that there was a high possibility that his death was caused by cardiovascular disease. A more detailed report on the cause of death will be released after the Institute of Forensic Medicine approves of the findings.
