Carina Lau Shrugs Off Bad Reviews; Shows Off Her S$34.4Mil Mansion’s Expansive Backyard
Don’t care, still rich.
Hongkong actress Carina Lau found herself the object of much criticism recently after her new drama, Half A Lifelong Romance, where she plays a twentysomething nightclub hostess, started airing.
But it seems like all this is merely water off the 54-year-old’s back. As of press time, Carina has not responded to the criticism… or porcine comparisons.
Instead, Carina busied herself over the weekend, posting videos and pictures of her home. The actress currently lives in a HK$200mil (S$34.4mil) mansion with her husband, Tony Leung Chiu-wai.
And of course, a mansion with a multi-million price tag will definitely have a backyard worth gawking at. Though all Carina did was post a short video revealing a small portion of her backyard with the caption, “have a super nice weekend”, netizens were more than pleased to catch a glimpse of the couple’s home.
Though the exact location of the mansion is not known, Hongkong media have speculated that the couple is likely to be residing in the outskirts of the city. According to reports, Carina and Tony purchased the 449 square metre mansion in 2006 for HK$73.8mil (S$12.7mil), which means that the value has more than doubled in these 14 years. Not bad at all.
